Mel has a fabulous, experienced team who help her to hand sew the blinds, curtains and cushions. In addition, as she also sews herself, she has an expert knowledge of what will work in every setting. From the initial design consultation and measuring up, through to final hanging and installation, Mel will personally oversee all work

With a fantastic selection of books f rom the popular fabric houses such as Romo, Colefax & Fowler, Jane Churchill, GP & J Baker, Sanderson & William Morris, Mel also has loves using fabrics from some original British Design houses such as Sarah Hardaker, Zoe Glencross, Kate Forman, Jacqueline Milton, Elanbach, Ian Mankin, Moon Wools and Design Forum.
New Collections are regularly launched and Mel loves to keep the collections up to date so she can show you the latest designs, styles and colours
Mel works closely with several talented upholsterers, and can help you to create a bespoke headboard or commission a customised bed.
She is also passionate about sustainability and will work with you to revamp a much loved chair or re-cover dining chairs, giving your furniture a new lease of life rather than adding to landfill.
With numerous contact in the soft furnishings industry, she can also recommend local sofa companies if you want to try before you buy.
Windowseats and cushions of any size, in complementary fabrics of your choice, can all pull together to add colour and texture to any room and ultimately personalise your home.
Finishing touches such as tie backs, upholstery and cushions can be chosen either at the beginning of the project, or once your curtains and blinds are in-situ to ensure you are completely happy with the entire scheme.
Mel can also supply curtain poles and is happy to help source the right look for your home and the curtain fabric chosen. She favours wood poles from Byron & Byron, Hunter & Hyland and Cameron Fuller and metal poles from Bradley Collection, The Blacksmith Collection and Made by the Forge.
